Murray Harbour Accommodations
Murray Harbour Prince Edward Island Travel Information
A railway in Murray Harbour opened in 1905 that led to Charlottetown. As well, shipbuilding was a main industry here. Today, Murray Harbour is a successful fishing and tourism community. Murray Harbour is 53.2 km (33.1 mi.) east of Charlottetown.
Beyond numerous attractions, Murray Harbour is also home to glorious scenery, such as the Kings Byway Scenic Drive, which hugs the eastern coastline, offering views of the shore, the ocean, the vast skies and the beautiful land. The Log Cabin Museum carries over three thousand artefacts from over a century ago and all the rooms are designed to suit life back then as well. Murray Harbour is home to the Rail Head Park, a lookout site, the Confederation Trail, live theatre, gift shops, a marina and all the amenities a visitor could need.
Murray Harbour accommodations include beautiful cottages, motels and campgrounds.
Our six, one and two bedroom cottages in Murray Harbour have a secluded, quiet and attractive setting snuggled amongst pines and birch trees just off our private lake. The lake is a spring fed lake that has an abundance of trout. You are welcome to use our rowboats and pedal boat supplied with life jackets to explore the lake. Nature trails winding along the lake though 20 acres of mixed forest.
