Argyle Shore, an unincorporated community, is situated on the southern shoreline of Prince Edward Island, on the northern shores of the Northumberland Strait, just a short drive to the renowned Confederation Bridge. Argyle Shore can be found on Highway 19, and is also a member of Queens County. First settlers to Argyle Shore came from Scotland, naming the community after Argyllshire, Scotland. Argyle Shore is an approximate driving distance of just 27.6 km (17.1 mi.) southwest of Charlottetown.
