Park Corner is located centrally on the northern shores of Prince Edward Island and is a member of Queen County and is still an unincorporated town. Park Corner can be found on Highway 20, a scenic shoreline drive. In 1775, James Townsend ventured to Parker Corner with his family from Berkshire, England, marking the first arrival of Europeans to the area. Park Corner is 58.8 km (36.5 mi.) northwest of Charlottetown.

Park Corner is home to the Anne of Green Gables Museum at Silver Bush. This is where L.M. Montgomery, author of Anne of Green Gables, was wed in 1911. Also, the museum features many of her possessions, breath-taking gardens, a bookcase and a wagon ride to Lake of Shining Waters. Another similar museum, the Lucy Maud Montgomery Heritage Museum, is the former home of the Montgomerys, including her grandfather. This heritage building was erected in 1775, and also features items from the Montgomerys when they lived here. Park Corner also features tours, a festival, a craft shop and much in terms of hospitality and scenery.

Park Corner accommodations include beautiful bed and breakfasts and cottages.
