New London is positioned on the mid-north section of Prince Edward Island, near the northern shores and Prince Edward Island National Park. New London is also a member of Queens County. The first settler to arrive here in New London was Robert Clark, an Englishman who came in 1773. At one time, New London was actually known as Clifton and then Graham's Corner. An annual festival here in New London also celebrates her life and her achievements. New London is home to delicious local seafood and antique and gift stores. As well, New London is very close to Cavendish, which is also a bustling tourism destination.
